Hey there
I'm Tom, a remote UX/UI Designer based on the UK's sunny south coast. Currently, I'm working at the award-winning eco-tech company myenergi, where I'm leading the end-to-end design process of a new mobile app for our device installers. I love translating complex technical requirements into intuitive solutions — and making sure to have fun while at it.
UX Design is my second career, having previously spent 6 years creating digital content for the UK's largest children's charity. It was at the charity that I was first introduced to the notion of User Experience - and was utterly fascinated by this intersection of design, technology and human being.
Outside of work, I'm interested in ethical technology design, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, backpacking, podcasts and peanut butter.
Love black coffee, walking with a podcast, Wikipedia, pub gardens and Shazam. Hate adverts, wind, lying politicians, diving in football and the Youtube homepage. My favourite song is Ocean by John Butler. I once purchased a SEGA Megadrive and 12 games for £1.
